The Many Faces of Gavriel

Ok, you asked for it!  LOTS of pictures! :-)  I truly hope you enjoy!  (The counterpart to THIS post.)

Today was another birthday for me.  I find it interesting that 2.5 years ago, we arrived home with Gigi on 7/25 and celebrated our wedding anniversary 3 weeks later on 8/19.  This time around we (ok, Jim and Gav) arrived home on 12/26 and almost 3 weeks later we celebrated my birthday.  Such memorable milestones!

Just want to throw out a shout out to my wonderful KazMamas.  They provided a Welcome Home Gavriel/Happy Birthday dinner from one of our favorite local restaurants.  Thank you (in no particular order) Susan S, Angela, Sara, Kristan, Susan M, KJ, Tricia, Regina, Stacy, Jennifer R, Sandi, and Lori!!  And Becca!  You guys seriously ROCK, and because of our wonderful dinner, I'll never forget this day!  (I know that sounds strange to say about the dinner- as opposed to our new son being home- but for our anniversary two and a half year ago, my mom, baby Gigi, and I had just flown in from AZ, and Jim had Pad Thai waiting for all of us.  Pad Thai is one of my favorites.  So as far as the day went back then, it was pretty sucky (details I never shared), but the dinner made EVERYTHING.  Same thing this time around (except the day wasn't sucky).  The dinner is what will make my first birthday with both a daughter and a son memorable.)  Convoluted story- sorry if it doesn't make sense.

Nothing super special happened today.  We chose tile for the new house.  Ooooh. :-)  I'll just get on with the pictures.  Can you see a difference in Gavriel already?
