Jan 21, 06 - Chose Kazakhstan
Jan 31, 06 - Interviewed agencies
May 26, 06 - Submitted application forms to World Partners Adoption and Summit Home Studies
May 30, 06 - WPA received application
Jun 2, 06 - Received 3-ring binder from WPA
Jun 15, 06 - Submitted I-600A
Jun 15, 06 - First Homestudy visit at our home
Jun 15, 06 - WPA processed and approved our application
Jun 21, 06 - Received contract from WPA
Jun 27, 06 - Fingerprints taken at Orono PD; Second Homestudy visit
Jun 28, 06 - Fingerprints sent to FBI for clearance
Jun 29, 06 - Fingerprints taken at USCIS
July 11, 06 - Submitted WPA contract
August 14, 06 - Homestudy is complete and sent to USCIS
August 24, 06 - Received I-171H
September 8, 06 - Dossier sent off to WPA
September 14, 06 - Dossier sent to Translation
December 21, 06 - Dossier out of translation; sent to NY Consulate
February 7, 07 - Dossier sent to Kaz
April 23, 07 - Received THE CALL
May 11, 07 - Received Travel Dates (leaving 6/7)
May 22, 07 - Received LOI
June 7, 07 - Left the United States
June 8, 07 - Arrived in Almaty, Kazakhstan
June 10, 07 - Flew from Almaty to Petropavlovsk
June 11, 07 - Met our baby girl!!
June 24, 07 - Final day of mandatory bonding
July 2, 07 - Court! Positive Verdict!
July 17, 07 - 15 day waiting period is complete
July 18, 07 - GOTCHA DAY!
July 20, 07 - Left Petro, Arrived in Almaty
July 23, 07 - SOS Clinc visit, US embassy visit
July 24, 07 - Exit interview with the Sisters (WPA)
July 25, 07 - Left Almaty for home
July 25, 07 - ARRIVED HOME FOREVER AND EVER!!
